Despite what appears to be fairly high heart rates I was able to talk the whole way and still have plenty in the tank. Total time was 54mins10sec excluding the changeover.
So how did the legs feel after riding? I'm keen to do triathlon sometime in the future.
ReplyDeleteYeh legs always feel a bit rubbish but after getting off the bike but usually only for the first kilometre or so. Once the blood stops pooling in your quads and finds your way to your hamstrings you get kind of a second wind. The one place I always feel it though is in the calves. I must hold a lot of tension in my calves when cycling because they feel like lead blocks when i start running.
